We were pretty sad about Amy Winehouse passing.
A friend of mine who produced my first album introduced me to her music. I was pretty blown away by her voice and fell in love with Back to Black instantly. I couldn't stop listening to it over and over.
I was so inspired I wrote Take Cover And Run (which will be on the next EP) to try and capture more soul and that cigar smoking 60s sound she had.

It's been two years since I played live with a band, although this is just Ellie and me. Well it counts. I'm pretty pumped about the shows we've got coming up.
I've been working on new songs with Ellie, which of course we have been boldly posting to FaceBook and YouTube. It will be great playing these new songs as well as tracks from the EP.
